About EPRN

The Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN) is a network which cooperates on research of economic policy.

The research units of  EPRN are the CEPG at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS), the DREAM group connected to the ministry of finance and the Economic Policy Research Unit (EPRU) at the University of Copenhagen.

The external affiliated partners of the EPRN are The Danish Ministry of Employment, the Danish Ministry of Finance, the Danish Ministry of Taxation, the Danish Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial affairs, and the Danish central bank. These partners fund the network activities.

The network was established 1 September 2001, and its purpose is to:

• Strengthen the interaction between the economic research and consultancy on practical economic-political issues.
• Heighten the interests in research of applied problems, and strengthen the influence of research in the decision-making of the economic policy.
• Increase the public interest in economic-political issues, and the interest in studying economy.
