Governance in Unlisted Danish Companies
We develop new knowledge on the economic impact of the different management models in SMEs. As part of the project we will share the newly obtained knowledge in the form of a toolbox with managers, boards of directors and advisors.
The overall objective will be achieved through three main areas:
1) We develop new research-based knowledge that uncovers the management models and leaders' time allocation in Danish companies Survey:
- Which management models are used in the Danish companies?
- Time studies of Danish managers' time and task allocation.
- Register analyzes combining the results of the survey, the time studies, and register data on the business organization, operation and performance.
2) We develop new management tools for business leaders:
- Benchmarking Tools providing Danish leaders an opportunity to benchmark their own management model and time allocation against the ones of other leaders.
- An internet platform where benchmarking tools in the future can be used by business leaders.
3) We document and disseminate our results for the benefit of executives, investors, board members, and consultants:
- Two reports with analyzes on the results of the research project.
- A conference that brings together all stakeholders.
Together the three deliverables will generate new essential knowledge forming the foundation for building a set of strategic tools available to managers in Denmark.
